H: Tournament draft format : Simplified draft
Enter the lobby, open a bot for the player who entered first, if one of the first 8 civilizations is randomized, this player starts to pick maps, then the other player will start to pick civilizations.
Players/team each pick 1 map alternately except the first time that the second player picks a map, he picks 2 in a row. Then same thing for the civilizations after all the map picks are done.
- On island maps players can't make towers , walls (or foundation) (except 1 tower and 1 wall tile per island)
+ Only 1 ranged unit of a certain type can be seen at once, you can screen shot a ranged unit and select another to have it on the same screen shot in the case they are split.
*Map size: medium (large for 2v2).
*Difficulty: hardest.
*Victory: conquest.
- A total of 72 map&formats can be picked where the 9 maps are multiplied by 4 secondary types (Fogged, Revealed, Fogged nomad with medium resources, Revealed nomad) and each player may pick a larger map with +1 format once (this map then counts as an unique map).
- Picks can only be chosen once, a maximum of 1 fogged map and 1 fogged nomad per players can be picked, all the other picks must be revealed maps.
- Whenever a fogged map is played, the player who picked it chooses 1 handicap from the list of the civilization he's picked to apply on himself.
- Whenever a map that has water is played, the mission points gained by the player who picked it are only 10% efficient.
- In games with a Sumerian civilization, no player can kill enemy units before min 8 (mandatory screen shot to show with the achievement window only).
- The tournament is played in 3 series of 8 games,if the score is 5/0 you win a series, if the score is 4/4, the one having the most mission points wins the series (Also very useful for the unfair point where the map of the decider game would have to be picked by a player on an odd number if it were to be played in a Bo7).
- When players finished to pick 5 maps each, they then pick 8 civilizations each, then the first game is played on the map chosen by the starting player who has been randomized in the first step of the tournament (from his map pool) and then alternately for each games.
- To pick their civilization in each game, players start a fogged island map and fully build houses (1 house = first civilization this player has picked, 2 houses = 2nd, etc..), when player are ready they can resign and check the houses (add a bot so a single player resigning doesnt end the game).
- In nomad maps players can't attack with villagers before min 2 nor attack with clubs before min 4.
Mission points made in the Simplified draft are 100% efficient, 3 series are played with 1 tournament point to gain for each series won, you may use one to pick a Bonus in a Specialized draft series.
